Architecture + Cities Research Forum: “Diagraming the Feral Condition” by Eric Guibert
23 march 2026
Online
In the last decades, the term ‘(re)wilding’ has been widely used by ecological landscape architects and gardeners, conservationists, and ecologists. As a result, the word may appear meaningless. Yet it has been an undeniably useful concept for radical landscape experimentation, with promising results indicating cost-effective solutions to the catastrophes of biodiversity collapse and climate change. The seminar was structured around the heuristic diagram Guibert has developed to map these diverse landscape practices within a continuum of landscape approaches, and to conceive of the feral condition they embody.
