Jason Bruges Studio produces innovative installations, interventions and ground breaking works creating interactive spaces and surfaces that sit between the world of architecture, site specific installation art and interaction design. Formed in 2002, Jason Bruges Studio, create innovative and engaging spaces which connect people with their environment. Our design studio and in-house workshop is based in Old Street, London, the hub of the creative and digital industry in Europe. Jason Bruges leads a multi-disciplinary team of architects, lighting designers, electronic engineers, programmers, visualisers, industrial designers and mechanical engineers. The studio brings environmental awareness and technical skill to the direction of all of their creative projects. Jason is currently working on a number of global projects, including a public artwork for a new development in Toronto, Canada; and a New Media Lounge at San Diego International Airport. Recently completed projects include, a series of interactive resources for Tate Modern, a distraction piece for Great Ormond Street Hospital in London for children on their route to surgery, a series of four immersive pods for WWF, and in 2012 the studio created six pieces in and around the London Olympic Park.
