The scheme was unveiled in October as a rival to contentious plans for the plot in Clerkenwell by Allies and Morrison, Wilkinson Eyre, Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and AHMM. The proposal will provide inexpensive accommodation for 100 small businesses and 2,000 low-income homes.

Dr Victoria Watson’s Air Grids have also been selected for the summer show. Victoria teaches Architectural History and Theory at the University of Westminster.
